We are currently seeking an HRIS and HR Compliance Leader (Senior Manager), reporting to the Senior Director of Total Rewards and HR Operations.  The HRIS and Compliance Leader serves as a resource for various HR, Legal, Compliance and Payroll Departments to provide systems support, People Analytics and to deliver solutions associated with HR Transactions and Compliance for all users of the HRIS system throughout the company. 

    Responsibilities

    • Lead a team of HRIS and Compliance Analysts to leverage ORACLE application to full capabilities, while ensuring efficiencies and compliance;
    • Partner with other HR COEs (Learning, Compensation, Benefits and HR Operations) to enhance the employee experience, while ensuring compliance with local, state, regional and national standards;
    • Lead cross-functional (core HR, HR COEs, Payroll and Operational Compliance) projects through an Agile approach, while aligning with enterprise-wide and HR goals;
    • Lead efforts in the design, development and delivery of standard monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics reports for internal program monitoring, automation and consolidation of data for the Human Resources Department;
    • Lead for the measurement and functional delivery of HR transactions analytics and people analytics through ORACLE BI tools;
    • Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy that must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation;
    • Create and maintain a portfolio of HR reports that assist in the measurement of quality and integrity of data collected throughout the employee life-cycle;
    • Design and analyze a variety of reports to show statistical data at different levels;
    • Review and analyze Exit Interviews, Engagement Survey, Performance data, and more to determine ‘red flags’ and areas of improvement;
    • Lead the review, testing, and implementation of HRIS upgrades. Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application upgrades. Document process and results;
    • Lead the HRIS and Compliance function in the research and resolution of HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements;
    • Lead the HR Compliance and HRIS functions through partnership in:
      • Adhering to methods, procedures and quality objectives including metrics for assessing progress and provides recommendations on improvements
      • Building, develops and grows any business relationships vital to the success of the project
      • Managing complex and large HR/Compliance projects independently, while leveraging relationships with Payroll, FP&A, HR Business Partners and external vendors
      • Performing requirements gathering and analysis functions in support of existing and proposed projects
      • Transcribing notes from all project-related meetings, and maintains, updates and coordinates calendars for project-related reporting, meetings and conference calls
      • Collaborating with the HR Functional leaders (and other leadership within and outside of the Human Resources team) to ensure maintenance and prioritization of Compliance related projects.
      • Conducts process, data and policy interpretation audits within HR Shared Services functional teams

     

    • Perform analysis, documentation of requirements and development of solutions to business;
    • Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of the HR system in order to effectively utilize its capabilities; and - Perform market research and analysis for business needs as appropriate;
    • Write, maintain, and support a variety of reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools. Assist in the development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing/auditing data;
    • Document various HRIS processes and results, while identifying opportunities to enhance the delivery and processes; and
    • Serve as a key liaison with third parties and other stakeholders. Use project management skills and provide overall project management for given HRIS and Compliance initiatives.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of twelve years of HR Compliance, HR Generalist, Project Management, HRIS administration consultation, implementation, optimization, integration, and/or project management;
    • Advanced experience in Payroll, HR and/or HCM Consulting experience a plus; knowledge of HCM (Oracle a plus); and full life cycle implementation of HRIS systems beneficial;
    • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills;
    • Proven experience in integrating a human resources data repository in an ERP environment to facilitate inter-company and external application integration;
    • Experience leveraging HCM applications to ensure enterprise policy compliance;
    • Experience in requirements gathering, fit gap analysis, design, test case creation required; compensation planning modules and Learning Management systems;
    • Team player supporting the HR department as well as internal clients;
    • Self-starter who can work independently as well as in a team setting, while leading a team and partnering with multiple functions;
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products;
    • Excellent planning and organizational skills;
    • Demonstrated customer service skills; and
    • Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills.
