    Responsibilities

    • Design and develop functional test plans for application/system testing;
    • Execute test scripts for complex and broadly used product capabilities and components;
    • Analyze and enters the defects found into the TFS defect tracking system;
    • Work with developers to help troubleshoot defects;
    • Set up, perform, and understand performance and load tests;
    • Identify, analyze, and communicate issues;
    • Demonstrate knowledge, proficiency, and practical application of SQA concepts, methods, and tools;
    • Identify gaps and deficiencies in existing test plans, scripts, and cases, and effectively extend test plans where necessary;
    • Analyze and report test results and testing status from an overall product perspective;
    • Organize and execute tasks and overall workload based on team goals and priorities;
    • Demonstrate an understanding of all facets of software product testing and quality measurement, including awareness of generally available and accepted solutions that apply to each facet;
    • Analyze functional requirements and specifications and, based on this analysis, (1) identify gaps in the defined requirements and specifications and (2) define a test plan that will assure that the defined requirements and specifications are fully met;
    • Develop and maintain test scripts and cases, and software test and performance measurement tools using appropriate programming languages or software applications; and
    • Responsible for identifying and isolating complex issues related to the interaction and usage of dependent parts of software.

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in functional testing of applications;
    • 4+ years of Test case development experience with ability to write test cases following use case methodology;
    • 3+ years of experience in relational databases like MS SQL and NoSQL like Mongo;
    • 3+ years of experience in and T-SQL and PL/SQL on Microsoft SQL server
    • 2+ years of experience of Release Management and Source Code control;
    • 1+ years of experience in use of formal Issue/Incident tracking applications;
    • 2+ years of experience working with client/server and RIA web based applications;
    • 2+ years of experience in using SoapUI or similar web service tools;
    • 2+ years of experience in test automation using Selenium;
    • Experience in validating effectiveness of user experience of application;
    • 2+ years of Agile engineering experience with working knowledge of SCRUM / SAFe processes;
    • Experience using source control tools – Microsoft Team Foundation Server, and/or Github;
    • Experience in DevOps toolset like Jenkins;
    • Good knowledge of basic test techniques (positive/negative testing, interface testing, database testing);
    • Understanding of US Healthcare domain and payer industry;
    • Experience with EHR systems like Epic, Allscripts, etc will be a big plus; and

    • Bachelors/Master’s Degree in Computer Science.
