    Inovalon has an exciting opportunity for a Learning Technologist who understands the process of designing and implementing innovative learning experiences and comprehensive solutions in support of managing the Learning Management System (LMS) to develop and manage web-based training activities and tasks.  The successful candidate will possess demonstrated capability in SharePoint, web-based course development using content creation software, and possess a level of requisite knowledge.


    • Responsible for the day-to-day and ongoing operation, maintenance, usage, analysis and administration of Learning Management System;
    • Create eLearning courses or update or fix existing eLearning courses;
    • Upload course content to the LMS and test appropriately;
    • Coach and mentor subject matter experts on internally developed eLearning courses;
    • Develop the company standard eLearning template;
    • Deliver eLearning development software training as needed;
    • Upload courses, assessments and other materials to the LMS;
    • Perform quality assurance checks on content and tests content functionality and communication with LMS prior to deployment;
    • Answer and resolve technical issues related to the LMS system including documenting and responding to the LMS e-mailbox;
    • Serve as a point of contact for managers and employees for questions and problems relating to the LMS system;
    • Provide subject matter expertise to Local Administrators including providing training on LMS and assistance with assignments and local requests;
    • Deliver routine reporting and upload training history monthly. Prepare reports, graphs, charts and statistics to support leadership and customer requests;
    • Act as Project Leader in further deployment of LMS rollout to the businesses;
    • Work with eLearning vendors to ensure functionality with LMS;
    • Manage the compliance program from the LMS perspective; and
    • Create and maintain process standards for the LMS.


    • Bachelor’s Degree required or five years of an relevant experience;
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Learning and Development or equivalent experience with online learning and end user experience;
    • Demonstrated SharePoint and Captivate expertise;
    • Comprehensive knowledge of the operational environments of eLearning vendors and associated technologies and systems;
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook); Strong technical acumen;
    • Ability to organize multiple tasks and prioritize assignments;
    • Strong interpersonal and oral communications skills;
    • Strong team player and contributor in the eLearning development and LMS environment;
    • Strong communication and enthusiasm for helping others resolve issues, and a desire to work in a fast-paced team environment; collaboration skills; and
    • Demonstrated experience interacting with managers at all levels.
