    Inovalon has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager of Human Resources to manage a multi-site team of Human Resources Business Partners.  You would be responsible to plan, develop, recommend and implement human resources activities, policies, procedures and programs across the organization in collaboration with HR colleagues and senior leadership.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the leadership and active management of HR Business Partners across the enterprise, including those in subsidiary business units;
    • Oversee employee relation matters and ensure progressive discipline policy is adhered to in order to mitigate legal exposure and risk;
    • Proactively identify, propose, lead, and implement key human resources initiatives which address the existing and emergent business needs for the Company;
    • Oversee the ongoing management of employee relations, communications, and retention to promote positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale;
    • Oversee and enhance the ongoing monitoring, evaluating, and counseling of employee performance;
    • Work with Learning and Organizational Effectiveness team to guide the development of coaching and professional development strategies for Company management;
    • Work collaboratively within HR to identify areas for process efficiency and make recommendations to HR leadership;
    • Support the development, coordination, and monitoring of compliance with corporate human resource policies and procedures for the company;
    • Oversee employee terminations, exit interviews, and handle all necessary termination paperwork; and
    • Assist management and legal counsel to identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting the human resources function (e.g., OSHA, EEO, TEFRA, ERISA, Wage & Hour), and monitor exposure of the Company to such regulations.

    Qualifications

    • 7 to 10 years’ experience demonstrating progression in the human resource function;
    • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations across the US;
    • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
    • Exceptional and professional oral and written interpersonal communication skills;
    • Strong problem solving, critical thinking and conflict resolution skills and ability to handle confidential information with great sensitivity;
    • Strong evidence of ability to work collaboratively and across remote work locations;
    • Strong skills in interpersonal communication, writing, organization, and good reasoning abilities;
    • Sound judgment and ability to work well under pressure, meeting multiple and conflicting deadlines; and
    • SPHR or PHR Certification Desirable.
