    The ITAM Manager acts as Inovalon’s transformational thought leader to develop and manage an ITAM program, collecting IT asset data to enhance operations, improve efficiency, manage costs, and develop budgets. In concert with senior leaders, develop an ITAM vision for Inovalon to include a strategy and a roadmap that encompasses processes and tools and ultimately integrates contractual and financial data to manage inventory and total cost of ownership.


    • With coordination from senior leadership, build an ITAM strategy in an effort to gain an enterprise view of all technology related physical and virtual assets;
    • Manage a small team dedicated to delivering excellence;
    • Administer ITAM tools and acts as a channel between ITAM tools, processes and technology with other departments to provide preemptive allocation and accurate updates to the asset repository;
    • Maintains all software licenses and subscriptions, ensures contractual compliance, preforms license reconciliation, true-up processes, and all internal and external software licensing audits;
    • Maintains proper implementation of ITAM policies, processes, and procedures for effective software lifecycle management;
    • Provides support in developing a comprehensive business plan for the management of assets, including brainstorming on the most effective, efficient, and economical procurement solution, in compliance with corporate policies and procedures and legislative requirements;
    • Maintains software and hardware assets in compliance with legislative requirements and accounting standards from acquisition to disposal (e.g. lifecycle management);
    • Works with stakeholders on virtual or physical audits of all IT hardware and software and enforces  processes and procedures to ensure accuracy; and
    • Produces metrics, reports, and cost analysis for ROI and budgeting for the Inovalon IT Asset Management program.


    • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field; Master’s degree is a plus;
    • 6+ years’ experience in ITAM at an enterprise-wide level and/or in an ITAM capacity or equivalent;
    • 1+ years’ of managing or supervising an asset management team;
    • Advanced knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) and ITAM methodology, standards and frameworks (e.g. ITIL, ISO 19770-X, MOF, COBIT, etc.);
    • Proven understanding of software licensing;
    • Experience with IT technologies, including common hardware, networking, and software licensing;
    • Proven experience with major service management platforms and ITAM Cloud/SaaS Tools; and
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and service skills.
