    The Manager, Interoperability Partnerships will lead engagements with leading EHR partners, HIEs, industry associations and other technology vendors to establish partnerships that grow and expand Inovalon’s connectivity reach and capabilities.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Lead the growth and expansion of Inovalon’s interoperability platform by nurturing existing partnerships and simultaneously identifying new technologies, partnerships and business models to position Inovalon for future growth;
    • Ensure incorporation of Executive Vision in new interoperability partnerships, products, and services;
    • Identify and engage new interoperability partnerships, prioritizing those which demonstrate business value and ROI for Inovalon;
    • Assist in the formulation of products and their operations, including, such parameters as: competitive research analysis, peer-group comparisons, product research and development, product functionality requirements analysis, sales and marketing strategies, human resource requirements, and market opportunity analysis; 
    • Hands-on management of product development projects relating to new partnerships, including assessment of scope, resource requirements, and scheduling; 
    • Provide support, research, and subject matter guidance to software development teams to help them arrive at requisite supporting systems concepts, software development plans, and integrated service delivery processes;
    • Responsible for the development of operational blueprints, design sketches/drawings, specifications, mock-ups, and product samples; and
    • Frequently interface with other functional organizations for  software development  operations management, marketing, and sales. 

    Qualifications

    • 5 or more years of experience in business development, consulting or innovative healthcare product management;
    • Master's Degree in Healthcare Admnistration, Business, or similar areas of study preferred; BA Degree acceptable but must have minimum 4-5 years of relevant work experience; 
    • Agile and energetic; comfortable adapting quickly to meet new business needs with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm;
    • Great communicator with strong business acumen and experience interacting with all levels of business stakeholders;
    • Extensive exposure into healthcare interoperability landscape including, EHR vendor platforms, connectivity standards, industry initiatives and business drivers promoting exchange;
    • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with proven ability to effectively plan, implement and administer projects to achieve business objectives;
    • Highly computer literate and with expert competence using Microsoft Office products; and
    • Microsoft SQL and Excel skills for the purpose of quantitative analysis are preferred.
