    We are currently seeking an Operational Excellence Project Leader to join our corporate Operational Excellence Team. The candidate must be self-motivated and work well in a team environment.  The projects undertaken by this role will have high visibility within the organization. 


    • Responsible for driving and supporting identified change initiatives throughout the organization;
    • Works independently to complete process improvement projects with a scope covering multiple departments within the company and involving executive level sponsorship;
    • Champion the continuous improvement methodology in an effective manner;
    • Lead multi-functional teams in process improvement projects;
    • Develop, update, and validate department process flow diagrams and value stream maps;
    • Identify and remove waste within processes using the Lean process;;
    • Establish key performance indicator metrics using statistics to make, validate and support data driven decisions;
    • Employ Lean Six Sigma (LSS) DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) and Lean processes to drive and manage department process improvement initiatives;
    • Utilize LSS DMAIC and Lean processes to determine project priorities and propel them forward;
    • Collaborate with business owners on data analysis and key projects;
    • Prepare and present monthly reporting that includes key process indicators, analysis of best opportunities for improvement, and status of improvement efforts; and
    • Presents results of analysis, data models, and other projects to senior management, as requested, in a concise and professional manner.



    • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business and/or Management Information Systems preferred;
    • Minimum of 10 15 years’ experience in a position leading process improvement initiatives (healthcare/technology industry a plus);
    • Proven experience leading organizational change, preference in ADKAR methodology;
    • Demonstrated experience working in fast paced call center environments and financial services;
    • Must have strong project management skills and hands-on working knowledge of the project management life cycle;
    • Ability to redefine process to increase effectiveness and use statistics to make data driven decisions;
    • Lean Process or Six Sigma experience required, Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt required, George Group Lean Six Sigma training/certification a plus;
    • Experience presenting and providing recommendations to senior leadership (verbal and written communication);
    • Demonstrated ability to successfully coach and mentor LSS Green Belts, Project Champions and Sponsors;
    • Working knowledge of Agile practices, Epics and User Stories;
    • Excellent business analytical skills (process flows, spreadsheets, modeling, procedures);
    • Comprehensive understanding of statistics and working knowledge of building reports and dashboards;
    • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite including Visio and reporting applications;
    • Ability to communicate effectively regarding all quality products, and related information; and
    • Ability to collaborate with business owners and prioritize multiple project needs.
