    Inovalon, Inc., is a national provider of healthcare data abstraction and chart review services, is currently recruiting a dynamic individual to join the quickly growing Sales team. The Business Development Representative II is responsible for researching Accounts and Contacts within existing client base to help us. This includes developing contacts and relationships with associated leaders and identifying net new prospects to target for strategic outreach of new business development and further expansion of our business within the marketplace.  Key elements of the job include the research and monitoring of related industries to identify potential new partners as well as the professional determined pursuit of new business opportunities. The Business Development Representative II will leverage existing clients and net new prospects for the purpose of Pipeline growth through Qualified Opportunities.  This role is an important part of Pipeline development for new to Inovalon clients as well as expanding current clients to additional Inovalon Solutions.  The Business Development Representative II will work closely with the Senior Manager Inside Sales to ensure outreach requirements are being met in order to achieve corporate goals and initiatives.


    • Extensive prospecting to engage contacts, designed to discover potential sales opportunities;
    • Facilitate meetings with high-level individuals in key decision making roles across all industries;
    • Achieve and exceed monthly individual and team goals overcoming prospective objections;
    • Research account organizational structure to identify potential prospects based on contact persona;
    • Conducts initial and follow up outreach to prospective and existing contacts for scheduling appointments with key decision makers;
    • Develops qualified opportunities by identifying needs within both new and existing accounts, building rapport, and conducting discovery calls;
    • Partner with colleagues in business solutions, sales, and sales enablement to build and expand account profiles in SFDC for targeted account based marketing;
    • Overcome competitive sales objections and position solutions against competition and customer needs;
    • Optimize accuracy of Client Relationship Management (CRM) system for contact information input and maintenance via external website and contact database sources;
    • Track and measure all outbound and inbound prospecting activities;


    • Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Company;
    • Minimum 0-2 years of experience in related field;
    • Excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills;
    • Successful in a fast-paced team oriented sales goals-driven environment that rewards hard work and self-motivation;
    • Exceptional over-the-phone presentation skills, constructing and presenting information to a wide array of audiences including external and internal stakeholders;
    • Must have a “Winning” attitude;
    • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new concepts and solutions;
    • Ability to influence others and building rapport and company value without formal authority;
    • Highly organized with detailed focused time management, negotiation, and consultation sales skills;
    • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Salesforce a plus; and
    • Ability to execute quickly and with high quality.
