The Business Analyst/Senior Business Analyst will lead analytics and initiatives to identify improvement opportunities across a broad range of departmental and functional areas. Numerous techniques and methodologies will be applied to capture current state assessment, identification of prioritized opportunity areas, and present executive-level action plan recommendations. This position interfaces with a cross-functional team of business experts, data analysts, technology systems analysts, client executives, department leads, and others. The ideal candidate for this role, will be creative, innovative, and proactive, with the ability to identify areas of opportunity and act on the identified opportunities to develop and manage a detailed plan of execution. Success in this role is further predicated on the ability to effectively communicate with senior leadership and clients to create a shared vision of success.



  • Lead, coordinate, and ensure completion of monthly analytical product execution processes;
  • Coordinate with cross organizational stakeholders, and ensure compliance with client specific requirements;
  • Provide subject matter expertise and leadership in areas including healthcare product execution, project management, member/patient engagement, risk identification, and other areas of expertise based on health plan client’s functional knowledge and background;
  • Identify opportunities for innovative service delivery to enhance product performance;
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of industry standards, health policy changes, and competitive landscape to ensure that product design and delivery is up-to-date;
  • Lead large complex projects to achieve key business segment objectives;
  • Translate analytic findings into executive-level and client-facing presentations;
  • Monitor required reporting, provide direction on findings, and oversee the operational aspects of new product implementations to ensure operational contract compliance;
  • Work with Marketing team to develop webinars, case studies, and podcasts that highlight product delivery success;
  • Foster and support business development opportunities in the expansion of products and services; and
  • Ability to manage internal relationships and deliverables with IT, development teams, client services, and analytics teams, interpret and design business requirements drawing from healthcare and service operations requirements.


  • Undergraduate degree in Public Policy, Public Health, Public Administration, Business, Economics or related field or equivalent work experience. Graduate Degree is highly preferred;
  • Consulting experience in healthcare preferred;
  • 3+ years of work experience in healthcare and experience with public programs (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid) is highly preferred;
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to understand the Company’s products and processes;
  • Work under minimal supervision on complex projects;
  • Microsoft Office and SQL literate;
  • Professionally skilled in personal presentation, verbal, and written communication; and
  • Meticulous organizational skills.
