Overview

The Senior Business Analyst contributes to interpreting priority highly complex performance data and supports the analysis of large clients for the Client Services Team to acquire new large clients and retain existing ones and recommend opportunities to increase in clients. The incumbent will be responsible for moderately complex reports and mid to large complex client communications. The Senior Business Analyst (Sr. BA) role encompasses those duties which directly provide effective services and results as part of the Client Service Manager (CSM) and their teams.

Responsibilities

  • Handles mid to larger complex client situations through deliberate planning and analysis to achieve results;
  • Perform the ongoing tracking, management and delivery of all product, services, operations, and relationship deliverables for assigned mid-level clients and access information on a recurring basis and escalate to responsible CSM (Client Service Manager), Virtual Client Account Team leader, or Director as appropriate;
  • Understands full picture and how individual actions fit within the client services framework. Using experience when making decisions on complex problems;
  • Evaluates client projects assumptions, complexity, constraints, dependencies and identifies all key stakeholders; Collaborate with their CSM, Virtual Client Account Team, and Director on effectively managing and resolving client provider, site, and member issues for assigned clients that arise during the delivery of Inovalon solutions;
  • Build relationships with new mid-level assigned clients and start to manage a small client with positive results;
  • Partner with CSM, Virtual Client Account Team, and Director to delight our clients through effective, timely delivery of excellent communication;
  • Support client relationships across Inovalon by actively partnering with CSM, Virtual Client Account Team, and Directors in the cultivation of client relationships by tracking and communicating status and delivery of client deliverables and commitments;
  • Communicate and effectively negotiate and manage the delivery schedule and time-line for all assigned mid-level client deliverables and commitments;
  • Prepare and support in planning of materials used implement, manage, and expand client-facing and supporting internal products, services, and operational processes;
  • Learned knowledge of Inovalon interventions, service and relationship commitments, and operationally-focused activities to facilitate successful resolution of client site, provider and member issues for assigned clients; and preliminary understanding of the negotiation of service and costs with clients as needed;
  • Identify prospective clients through networks and referrals and develop and maintain a knowledge base of client complex problems and resolutions to facilitate the effective, timely delivery of high quality client solutions;
  • May provide guidance and support to team members including review of daily work-flow to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Participant in regular client meetings and teleconferences to build strengthen client relationships;

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of combined experience in related field required;
  • Prior client services coordinator or analyst practical work experience required;
  • 2+ years of experience in reporting analysis that assist in driving internal solving client issues and business decisions;
  • Strong analytical skills to create and interpret ad hoc and standing client reports;
  • Good understanding of SQL is essential, proficiency not required
  • Highly competent skills at developing Power-Point presentations and articulating data in a business story;
  • Ability to digest and communicate complex data reports effectively to management and clients; Highly Proficient skills and knowledge of in Microsoft Suite (e.g., Word, Access, Excel, and Power Point);
  • Interest in client-facing opportunities and ability to prioritize tasks effectively a in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to work independently or within a group and keep abreast of complex projects;
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Suite (e.g., Word, Access, Excel Power Point);
  • Strong work ethic, autonomy, and dependability with a proactive method to resolving problems and ability to influence clients;
  • Highly motivated, resourcefulness focused on results and act with a high sense of urgency;
  • Strong attention detail, organization and follow up skills; and
  • Excellent communication skills interpersonal, written, and verbal.
