Inovalon is looking for a Director, Mergers & Acquisitions and Integration who is interested in working on a dynamic team responsible for Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) , enterprise strategy and acquisition integration for Inovalon.  The Inovalon Corporate Development team works with executives to evaluate and drive growth opportunities through acquisitions, strategic investments and partnerships. This is an excellent opportunity to apply and enhance skills in finance, mergers and acquisitions and strategy while gaining valuable industry and business experience.


  • Drive a range of projects related to strategy and financial performance, working closely with the Finance & Administration organization throughout the lifecycle of an M&A transaction(s);
  • Responsible for initial diligence and modeling, understanding target’s accounting processes, integration planning and execution, to post-acquisition support and review;
  • Identify the impacts of decisions and activities that affect the broader organization;
  • Prepare presentations, executive summaries and memos to senior management;
  • Project management responsibilities, including schedule and scope development, issue and risk management, and strategic planning and analysis; and
  • Conduct research and valuation activities and translate analyses into sound strategic recommendations.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Strategy or relevant field required;
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience within the healthcare, technology industry or relevant industry is required; including 3+ years of demonstrated M&A transaction experience from investment banking, strategy consulting firm, private equity or venture capital, or corporate development of a Fortune 500 company required;
  • Prior M&A integration strategy, planning, post-merger integration management (i.e. IMO), as well as functional/operational work stream management and execution;
  • Ability to work with cross-functional business teams to identify fundamental business drivers and risks to those drivers, and translate them into modeling parameters;
  • Knowledge and experience with private equity buyouts and/or strategic mergers and acquisitions a plus;
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and quality experience;
  • Strong organizational skills, detail oriented with the ability to hand multiple projects and priorities concurrently; and
  • Ability to travel up to 25% is required.
